Ain’t Got Time Fo’ Dat? – 5 Min Banana Bread

I must apologise for my radio silence these past few weeks – my only explanation is having a very active 2 year old and a 5 month old who is VERY snuggly.

So much so, that apart from the very bare minimum of getting a 20-30 minute workout in at the arse crack of dawn then showering and getting dressed, I barely have much time for anything else!

These past few weeks have been even more manic because Lil Pudding has become so much more alert and wants constant entertainment- unlike her brother who barely cares if you’re in the room or not because he’s so busy ripping through it like a hurricane 🤦🏽‍♀️

As a result, I’m finding that I often ‘forget’ (read: neglect) to feed myself properly. I’ll have my Superfood shake in the morning or mix it in with Oats then it could be 2pm before I stuff something down me because my tummy is screaming at me for food!

Yesterday I had some overripe bananas in the fruit bowl – I had quite a few so I froze some and then decided I’d make some banana bread with the rest. This 5 minute Banana Oat Bread is prefect for a snack or even breakie if you’re like me and have zero time for laboured baking but don’t want to ruin your gainz chomping on processed food!

You’ll need:

🍌2 Ripe Bananas

🥣2 Cups of Gluten Free Rolled Oats

🍯1/4 Cup Organic Honey or Maple

🥄1 tsp Baking Soda

🍫A Handful of Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until a smooth consistency.

Pour into a greased and lined baking tin and bake for 35 mins 😋👌🏾

That literally is it! {My apologies to the non-banana lovers – I have no substitute for this recipe because I literally chucked everything together to use up the sad and lonely bananas🤷🏾‍♀️}

If you make it let me know how you like it 🤗 I’m now munching a slice whilst nursing my little diva 😃👌🏾

Happy Friday!!
