Recently I’ve been stuffing myself with oats, oats and more oats for breakie as well as my daily chocolate protein Superfoods.
But, as the as the summer sun slowly makes it way to us, I’m starting to lose that warm bowl of oats craving in the mornings.
I still want to have my oats and eat them though, because they’re really filling, healthy and increase milk supply for nursing mamas 🍼🤱🏾
What if I told you that you could have your oats AND pancakes AND chocolate for breakie AND keep it healthy?
These super easy, quick and healthy Choccolate Oat Pancakes are just that plus they’re delish!
3 tbsp Oats
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Organic Honey
1 Scoop Vegan Chocolate Shakeology or other chocolate protein powder
Almond Milk – to desired consistency
Extra Virgin Olive Oil – for frying
Put all the ingredients in the blender and blitz until it becomes a smooth batter.
Fry batter into pancakes – should make 3 medium sized cakes or 2 large ones.
Top with fruit and Greek Yoghurt for extra protein.
Et voila – summer breakie gains sorted!
